English-Ukrainian Interpreter/Translator

We’re hiring: English-Ukrainian Interpreter/Translator

Lingua Lab s.c. is one of the largest translation agencies in Poland. We provide translation services to Polish ministries and the most important public bodies of the Republic of Poland.

Key responsibilities:
• Providing accurate and timely translation between English and Ukrainian for military trainings delivered to the armed forces, including: on-site interpretation services and written translation
• Providing informal interpretation services between Ukrainian and English during training sessions and meetings at a military facility (NOT conference interpreting)
• Cooperating with military personnel to support accurate international cooperation
• Applying and maintaining approved terminology across translated documents
• Accepting and implementing reviewer/editor feedback to deliver final translations

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in interpretation/translation services
• Document confirming knowledge of Ukrainian- B2/C1 or native speaker
• Document confirming knowledge of English – B1/B2 or higher (TOEIC certificate (750+ points) or equivalent)
• No criminal record
• Typing and computer skills
• Flexibility to shift work
• Very good physical fitness

Optional:
• Experience working in an international military environment, familiarity with military terminology and protocols
• Experience working in multinational teams or supporting multilingual communications in official or formal contexts
• Valid NATO Secret clearance or ability to obtain one within a short period of time after being notified of a selection for the translator position
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within international teams
• Higher education diploma
