The Job

As the General Manager, Poland, you’ll manage the teams and business in our two offices in Poland. You’ll be responsible for business operations, team leadership, employee satisfaction and culture. You’ll also play an impactful role in client satisfaction, business development and regional marketing for the European market. Lastly, you’ll play a key role in the overall leadership of the company contributing to the company’s strategic direction and executive leadership.


Business Operations
Provide guidance and direction to achieve regional business goals
Identify and implement best practices towards delivering better outputs
Manage regional OKR discussions and accountability
Establish relationships across all disciplines
Promote positive cross-functional and geo-dispersed collaboration
Manage finances and budgets for the offices
Contribute to annual financial planning activities
Manage growth against the hiring plan
Conduct capacity planning activities
Work with existing leadership to ensure local regulations are followed
Manage facilities, leases and office expansion activities
Manage the toolset across functions
Team Leadership
Provide office level leadership working closely with existing leadership
Directly manage, mentor and coach existing senior leadership
Continue to optimize a matrix structure across multiple geographies
Facilitate performance review process and delivery individual reviews to senior staff
Employee Satisfaction and Culture
Work with local leadership to ensure a difference making culture
Work with local teams to facilitate extraordinary cultural events
Facilitate office level all-hands meetings
Troubleshoot personnel issues to ensure resolution inline with our standards
Help plan and facilitate training and professional development activities
Client Relationship Management
Work closely with our Customer Success and Client Strategy teams to manage European client relationships
Serve as a point of escalation for any client satisfaction issues
Foster organic growth within the existing client base
Business Development
Work closely with our Sales team to help expand our client base in Europe
Attend and contribute to key business development meetings
Identify new partners and services to advance client growth
Work closely with the Channel Sales team to develop partnerships with agencies in Europe
Regional Marketing
Work closely with the Marketing team to expand our presence in the region
Attend key marketing opportunities
Facilitate and speak at local events to help gain exposure
Company Leadership:
Serve as a member of the company’s senior leadership team
Participate in annual planning activities
Participate in activities to monitor the health of the business
Provide impactful insights to the company’s strategic direction
Years of Experience:
20+ years of experience as a business and operations leader required
15+ years of experience managing cross-functional resources with a heavy emphasis on managing Engineering resources required
10+ years of experience working at software companies of similar size
Business Operations Experience:
OKR definition and management
Reviewing and optimizing processes across multiple functions
Defining and managing finances across multiple offices
Scaling teams and operations
Team Leadership Experience:
Playing an impactful role on company leadership teams
Managing and mentoring senior team members
Managing performance review cycles and delivery reviews
Providing leadership across multiple offices
Working within a geo-dispersed, matrix organization
Sales, Marketing & Client Relationship Management Experience:
Managing senior clients while delivering digital initiatives
Helping with demand generation
Playing a role in field marketing events
Leading and/or participating in pitches
Negotiating contracts
Speaking publicly
Self-motivated, and persuasive, with a warm and nurturing personality
Basic understanding of landing pages, digital marketing and advertising
A data-driven work ethic
Superb organization skills and attention to detail
We are open to local candidates only! You'll need to work in Instapage offices in Poland (Białystok or Warsaw).
